A new project about natures little workers has begun. Insects, humans and humanities expansive culture plays the lead role in the documentary series. The insects - pollinators and decomposers - lay the groundwork for human survival on this planet. The films sets focus on the small inhabitants of our world and their labour, critical to both fodd production and biological diversity. We will start with a trip to CA Sacramento in February 2010 to study the pollination and bloom of the almond trees in Central Valley where approximately 1.3 million bee societies are freighted and distributed annualy.

Once upon a time there were cows. There still are but not in the same way. The swedish cow was a symbol of our welfare, our social politics, our national character. Cows are a mirror to the soul, a scent of newly cut grass and swaying lorryloads of golden hay, of time resting peacefully in light clouds.

The Peoples Home was built by dairy products and the humble swede sprung out of early mornings of mooing cows accompanied by the silent humming of milking machines. Cows still are, it is humans and time that has changed.

Our new studio at Halvands in Garda is full of creative warmth, marble floors and crude wood, through the large glass doors the gotlandish savannah stretches miles wide.
